This 17 year old expression is the epitome of rarity. Distilled in 1981 and placed in stainless steel vats in 1998, this bourbon has notes of anise, black licorice, tobacco and ripe cherries. Bottled at 108.51°, this bourbon is sure to leave even the most discerning enthusiast asking for another dram.
12 YEAR KY BOURBON
This rare bottling takes advantage of superior bourbon barrel selection and blending, using only the finest examples of 12-year Kentucky Bourbon from Preservation’s vintage stocks. Marrying three, hand-selected barrels per batch and bottled at cask strength, approximately 115º, and non-chill filtered, this bourbon is presented as a true expression of “craft.”

VINTAGE BARREL SELECTION
These carefully selected, exceptional barrels of Wattie Boone American Whiskey were distilled in Tennessee utilizing a proprietary bourbon mashbill, then aged in a single-story warehouse in the heart of Kentucky’s bourbon empire, along the very river where Wattie distilled his first Kentucky Bourbon. Resting in experimental oak barrels for more than 10 years, each single barrel selection provides a flavor profile, completely unique from barrel to barrel. These special bottlings are finished at cask strength, approximately 112-125 proof, and non-chill filtered to preserve every drop of bold flavor, exquisite mouthfeel and robust character.
